This can get challenging since the generators make a lot of noise. Each survivor has a unique perk that can help in various situtations. 

 Survivors are faster when vaulting through windows and over ledges. You can use different pallaets to slam down to slow down the killer. Every survivor can detect how close the killer is to them using their heartbeat. The close the killer the more faster your heart beat will get.
